Sifax Group To Commence Oil Exploration
A leading force in the maritime and hospitality business in Nigeria, SIFAX Group of Companies, will soon commence oil exploration in the country .
According to an impeccable source close to the Chairman, Board of Directors of the company, Otunba (Barrister) Taiwo Afolabi, disclosed that the company will soon commence oil exploration in the country to enhance a balance of trade and also fill the vacuum left by the NNPC over the years.
The source revealed that the four refineries owned by the country have not been functioning despite the fact that several billions of Naira have been disbursed for their turnaround maintenance, a development that made the oil marketers to embark on importation of petroleum products.
It was revealed that the lost glory of Nigeria will be restored in the oil and gas sector, as the company has commenced necessary documentation and sought for approval from relevant government agencies, while engineers and other expatriates who will make the vision a reality have signed all agreements.
Sources hinted that the company is partnering with a world-class financial institution to leverage their resources in a bid to build the world's biggest refinery.
The refinery is expected to create an additional two hundred thousand jobs for the youth. While the company will exports its product to other African countries and also sells to Nigeria at pocket-friendly prices, more revenue will be generated into the coffers of government and the company will continue to provide corporate social responsibility to its immediate host communities.
